Chris Levine has unveiled two new prints in collaboration with the English Heritage Trust to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
Titled Stoned 2 and Stoned 3 (2023), the artworks celebrate the mystery and allure of the iconic Stonehenge site in all of its glory. Printed on matte archival paper, the unframed editioned prints are available directly from the Stonehenge Shop.
The artist is currently developing installation concepts for Stonehenge and researching the invisible aspects of the site, exploring such fields as the ley line configuration of the stones, through to the alignment with celestial bodies and cosmic geometry. It follows on from his show at Houghton Hall, 528Hz Love Frequency, which worked with geometry and frequencies that affected human physiology. It's widely believed, but little understood, that Stonehenge and other megalithic sites had an impact on human consciousness at particular times of the cosmic calendar and that somehow the stones amplified the flux fields of earth energy to benefit those who tuned into it.
The two prints will be available through the Stonehenge Visitor Centre and can also be purchased online via the Stonehenge Shop here.
