Tomorrow marks Macmillan Cancer Support’s Biggest Coffee Morning, and they need your support more than ever.
In what marks the 30th anniversary year of the charity’s flagship campaign – one of the UK’s longest running fundraisers – Macmillan faces losing a third of its fundraising income due to the coronavirus pandemic. Money which provides vital support for so many people with cancer.
That’s where you come in, and some other famous faces.
Join Normal People actress Daisy Edgar-Jones, James Bond star Naomie Harris and broadcaster Fearne Cotton – who were snapped for this socially distanced photo series by Sony World Open Photographer of the Year Tom Oldham – and hold a virtual coffee morning to raise much-needed funds or simply donate. You can text CUPPA to 70550 to donate £5 or donate to one of your local events. Here’s one that’s close to our hearts.
Daisy Edgar-Jones said: “Macmillan is always there for those of us who need support, and now more than ever they need our help to do their vital work. Having a coffee morning for Macmillan is a fun and easy way to raise money for a great cause and, even though this year things are a little different, it’s still important that we have a cuppa for Macmillan if we can, wherever we are, and give them our love and support.”
